It's easy to forget it was only a little over a century ago Arizona was unsettled and the land nothing more than desert and rolling hills. Arizona cities and towns continue to be among the fastest
growing in the nation, but oftentimes we take for granted those that had to frontier before us. It was courage and dreams that would bring families "West," but few understood the true hardships that they would face along the way. It is as tribute to one such family that inspired Cartwright's On Saguaro Hill.
Cartwright's, Cave Creek's newest fine dining restaurant, is nestled in the side of Saguaro Hill with stunning views of Black Mountain and stands of giant saguaro cacti. The second area restaurant from partners and proprietors Chef Eric Flatt and John Malcolm, Cartwright's follows the high standards set by their other establishment, The Award Winning - Tonto Bar and Grill at Rancho Manana. Both restaurants deliver unbeatable atmosphere and outstanding food complemented by their appreciation for the area's rich history.
